Community classes at Redfern Yoga Room are an affordable and accessible way to experience the benefits of yoga at your own pace with an experienced teacher, while also getting to know others in the local Redfern community.
This is a led class in the Vinyasa style of yoga, where poses are linked together in sequences to connect body, mind, and breath. Yoga props such as blocks, straps, and blankets are sometimes used to provide different options for everyone, from beginners to experienced practitioners. The aim of this class is to give people from all walks of life the opportunity to increase strength and flexibility, all while ensuring safety and comfort in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. Beginners are welcome!
